Today I've spent a certain amount of time trying to solve a screen sharing problem with Webex on one of my laptops.
The problem was each time I shared the screen the black box appeared and a mouse on top of this.
I've tried almost everything: intalling/reinstalling different browsers, different JREs (i586, x64), reinstalling of video dirver. I performed almost all the steps I could imagine and was close to reinstalling of OS...
The problem was solved by tweaking the screen:
- Disabled 3D accelleration for desktop in NVidia Control Panel (switched to automatic)
- Changed the color depth to 16bit (was 32bit)
And that helped...
I suppose there should be an automatic switch to 16bit scheme when the sharing is performed but for some reason it doesn't work.
So before ruining the system - try this workaround
